A certain Euro-compatible voltage of musical excitement and anticipation has been zapping around our headquarters as we begin to envision and to schedule our biggest Web Based Web Event to date.

UPDATE: A date for our upcoming ABBA Week-long Web Event has been firmed up  after nearly five unanswered telegrams from BBHQ to the Ledendary Scando Quartet. It is with great pleasure that we can now announce that this seminal (to some) WLWE ( Week Long Web Event ) will begin pretty soon.

After the Antonio book party last year Codie and Connie and I were walking towards Fifth and we were feeling pretty fabulous. Somehow I became convinced that nothing was more glamorous than the reflected street lights on a massive pile of garbage near the corner. Instantly Codie became airborne and did a model’s dive onto the heap. “Trashy glamour,” we screamed!

We miss Codie terribly. She might have been the nicest person in New York. She had pure intentions and such a unique and brazen type of charm. Peace and endless glamour to Codie Ravioli. ( oh my God, I’m so upset again… )

It’s always been about tie-ins and corporate cross marketing. Look for the new GAP balloon this year, a massive “balloon” shaped balloon in tan.

The Holidays are a time for costumes but Pilgrim is out. The kids will be wearing a First Nations, Native American / American Indian look this year. “We’re sorry we stole your world,” is the sentiment behind the feathers and paint. ( “We love your casinos though.” )

I don’t feel proud just to be gay though, I never have. Being gay is the easiest part of all. Being the rest of me is what I try to be proud of. Sometime’s it’s hard but lessons are hard to learn and I am generally a know it all who tends to be a scene stealer. Nuf said.

Gay pride – I love fireworks and I love a parade. It’s a good day for me.
