Sylvester was so AMAZING. He really did make me feel mighty real. The voice, the look… and his connection to Hibiscus (George Edgerly Harris III) and the Cockettes troupe. So much talent and so many threads connecting him to an astounding amount of trailblazing, avant-garde artists, pioneering, radical, queer progressive activists. A beautiful voice in many ways.
